Suppressing violations allows to omit violations which are valid in specified code context. To suppress violations use following tags in your Magik code:
Note: Tags are taken into only when Enable violation suppression option on Profile preference page is enabled.
Users can use two strategies for suppressing violations. First is based on regions that are determined by off and on tags. Second allows to suppress all violations starting from off tag to the end of file.
Note: Users can suppress all violations in a file by inserting #MSTYLE_OFF tag as a first statement. The same can be achieved by including the file in one of resource filters.
MStyle provides Magik editor templates, which can be used to create suppression areas:
To use templates in editors write first letters of template name and activate Code Assist.
