Product Explorer View

Product Explorer view shows Magik element hierarchy of Magik projects from your workbench. It provides you with a view of the resources shown in the Navigator.

For each project, its products, modules, source folders, source files, referenced libraries, assigned GIS session and other elements are shown in the tree.

Product Explorer View

By default Product Explorer view is shown in Magik Development perspective. To add a view to the current perspective, click Command Link Window > Show View > Other... > Magik > Product Explorer.

Toolbar

Command Name Description
back Back

Navigates to the previously displayed view with a different element at the top level.

forward Forward

Navigates to the view with a different element at the top level that was displayed after the current state.

Up Up

Navigates to the parent container of the package that is currently displayed at the top level in the view.

collapse all Collapse All

Collapses all tree nodes.

link Link with Editor

Links the product explorer's selection to the active editor.

View menu

Command Name Description
  Top Level Elements > Projects

Shows project as top level elements in the Package Explorer. Only projects which are the part of the currently active working sets are shown.

  Top Level Elements > Working Sets

Shows Working Sets as top level elements in the Package Explorer. Only active Working Sets are shown.

 

Select Working Set

Opens Select Working Set dialog that allows to select the working set which elements should be shown.

 

Deselect Working Set

Deselect Working Set: deselects active working sets. All elements are shown after invoking this command.

 

Edit Active Working Set

Edit Active Working Set: opens Edit Working Set wizard to edit the currently active working set.

link Magik Presentation > Projects

All Magik projects are shown as top-level elements with assigned session as their sub-element.

All Sessions are shown as top-level elements with assigned Magik projects as their sub-elements.

  Sort > by Name

Allows to specify the order of tree nodes. Elements are arranged in alphabetical order regardless of their type.

  Sort > by Type

Allows to specify the order of tree nodes. Elements are arranged in alphabetical order regardless of their type.

filters Filters...

Opens Magik Element Filters dialog.

link Link with Editor

Links the product explorer's selection to the active editor.
