Messages Files Editor Syntax Coloring Preferences

Set your preferences for the Syntax Coloring behavior on Opens the Syntax Coloring preference page Magik > Messages Files Editor > Syntax Coloring preference page.

Syntax Coloring specifies how messages are rendered in Messages Editor. Note, that general text editor settings such as the background color can be configured on the general Text Editors preference pages. Fonts can be configured on the general Colors and Fonts preference page.

Element component contains list of message file elements that can be rendered with its own color and style. For every element the following options can be set:

Option Description
Enable Makes the selected element active for syntax coloring.
Color Specifies the color in which the selected element is displayed.
Bold Makes the selected element bold.
Italic Makes the selected element italic.
Strikethrough Makes the selected element strikethrough.
Underline Makes the selected element underlined.

Preview component displays the preview of message files respecting current colors and styles.
