Mapping source files

Method Finder is a tool used by Smallworld™ GIS virtual machine to index Magik code transmitted to GIS session. It works jointly with the running session and stores information about all sent exemplars, methods and other code element declarations. This information is later used by all MDT search features such as Magik Search, Class Browser etc.

There is often a situation that Method Finder has indexed paths to some Magik source code which is not accessible during your work. If you have access to local copy of those sources you can use paths mapping feature to map originally indexed source paths to local paths on the machine.
