Hi,
I was a conference delegate at the EMEAI Smallworld conference in Noordwijk. I participated in your MDT Workshop. The speaker mentioned a new licence version (licence server). Could you please be so kind to inform me about the release of this licence version and the price?

Hi,

we are working intensively to prepare such license. First version is planned to release in the middle of this year (probably June). About price we will inform earlier on MDT website and through newsletter.

Will it be possible to switch from an existing MDT Professional Edition Portable licence to the new server based licence?

Server based license (floating license) is intended for larger user amount. It is completely different licensing model with no application to single license.There will be no possibility to switch license.
