MDT Forum Questions...

Postby preale » 03 Nov 2010, 13:42

Hi Folks,

I have a few questions about this forum...

- How can I get the formatting to work on my signature (i.e. [b] and [url])?
- After I login to the forum, then navigate to another part of the MDT website (Products, or Home links) and then come back to the forum, I am no longer logged in. Do I need to allow cookies for this website?
- Now that I have 2 member profiles, how can I combine them (move my pyropete into preale)?

Thanks,

Hi preale

- How can I get the formatting to work on my signature (i.e. [b] and [url])?

It wasn't working because of "Disable BBCode" option being checked in your signature settings. As you can see it works now.
- After I login to the forum, then navigate to another part of the MDT website (Products, or Home links) and then come back to the forum, I am no longer logged in. Do I need to allow cookies for this website?

Yes you should allow cookies for this site.
- Now that I have 2 member profiles, how can I combine them (move my pyropete into preale)?

You can not do it by yourself. Why have you created a second account?

Thanks for the quick reply...

  • In Firefox, I have "Accept cookies from sites", but still no luck
  • I had inadvertently created 2 member profiles (personal/business), but don't need two. I would like to use this one, associated with my business email address. If 'pyropete' cannot be merged into this one or deleted, no biggie... I'll just ignore it.
Thanks!

Please try to delete cookies related to mdt.net. It should help.
Here is a short tutorial: delete-cookies-firefox
