Sessions

Standard session in MDT is responsible for resolving provided set of environment variables and for running session launcher (sw_magik_win32.exe executable) with an image file and set of arguments.

To specify a Session in MDT the following parameters have to be set:

• Session name
• Target GIS version
• Related runtime
• Working directory (optionally)
• Image file
• Environment variables (optionally)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• SMALLWORLD_GIS environment variable value is a default location for working directory.
• Environment variables can be defined directly or imported from the GIS aliases file.
• MDT is responsible for storing and resolving session configuration.
