Magik Element Decorations

Override Indicators

Magik views can show special decoration icons to indicate methods, that override or implement methods from supertypes.

To show/hide the override indicators, use the Magik Method Override Indicator checkbox in the General > Appearance > Label Decorations preference page.

Hierarchy View Decorations

Hierarchy view has the following decorations enabled by default:

• Additional Type Info - shows classify levels for the classes
• Element Icon - updates the icon depending on the element type
• Missing Source File - distinguishes classes or methods, that do not have corresponding source files marked with grey background

To show/hide the decorations, use appropriate indicator checkbox in the General > Appearance > Label Decorations preference page.

NOTE: Additional information about types in Hierarchy view is limited for types from Smallworld™ GIS 3.x sessions.
