Command Line Sessions
Command Line Session is responsible for running provided executable file (gis.exe, batch file, etc.).
When using Command Line Session ensure the executable file runs Smallworld™ GIS session and not
e.g. Emacs editor.
To specify a Command Line Session in MDT the following parameters have to be set:
- Session name
- Target GIS version
- Related runtime
- Executable file
- Command line parameters (optionally)
- Working directory (optionally)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- MDT current working directory is a default location for working directory.
- MDT does not validate session configuration with the exception of executable file and working directory locations.
- Modify executable file content or command line parameters to replace running e.g. Emacs editor with GIS session launch if necessary.
