23.11.2009 First issue of MDT Magazine

We present to you the first issue of MDT Magazine (No 1/2009 Autumn). The Magazine is addressed to anyone who is interested in geospatial systems built with use of Smallworld™ technology and Magik programming language. We would like to present some technical details, useful hints for developers, results of tests and many other interesting information.

 

In the first issue of MDT Magazine we would like to introduce ourselves and MDT. In the News section you can read about the acknowledgement of our project by GE Energy. The Technology section contains an interesting comparison of MDT and Emacs efficiency and some information about the new debugger for Magik. In the last Interview section Mr. Oliver Löken shares with us his impressions about implementing MDT in GIS Consult.

05.11.2009 ASTEC at SAUC 2009

This year's Smallworld™ Americas Users Conference took place on October 18-22 at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel and Spa in Glendale, Arizona. At the conference ASTEC presented services in Smallworld™ technology and the new portable version of MDT. We were pleasantly surprised by high number of the conference participants interested in our IDE.

 

We would like to thank all for great interest in our presentation and workshop as well as everyone who visited our booth. In particular we would like to thank those who completed our survey, your valuable hints and remarks will help to customize a further development of our solution.

We would like to present a new portable version of MDT. This is an ideal solution designed for Smallworld™ Magik software developers who need best IDE everywhere they work. Americas Smallworld™ Users Conference will start on Sunday, October 18, 2009! You can find us at stand No. 6 in Ballroom at Renaissance Glendale Hotel. All visitors will have the opportunity to try out the newest version of MDT. The premiere of MDT Portable will also take place at the conference. 10.09.2009 Join us at Smallworld Americas Users Conference in Arizona

We would like to invite you to Smallworld Americas Users Conference, which is being held at the Renaissance Glendale in sunny Glendale, Arizona. The conference starts October 18, 2009 and will last till October 22, 2009. Among a variety of exhibitions and workshops we will present Hands-On Workshop – "Best practices in Smallworld™ application development with the use of MDT environment based on Eclipse" (requires registration) and a presentation "Significant efficiency increase of Smallworld™ application development by means of MDT".
