Magik Development Tools (MDT) is a flexible and intuitive visual Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for GE Smallworld™ GIS developers. MDT is based on Eclipse and enables comprehensive use of already existing solutions and plug-ins.

11.04.2007 MDT 0.4.2 release plan

ASTEC announces that the new Magik Development Tools release is planned to be shipped in May 2007. The list of new features is available here. Please feel free to place your remarks about our planned release and your suggestions for new features on the forum "NEW FEATURES" at the MDT website.

23.02.2007 Magik Development Tools 0.4.1 Now Available!

The release of Magik Development Tools 0.4.1 is now available for immediate download and installation. This release introduces new exiting features like: improved sessions handling, automatic indenting of the Magik code compliant with the Emacs rules, Magik Code Templates and many more. Please review changes list for more information.

08.02.2007 Next release in a few days!

To satisfy MDT users expectations, we have made some changes in the realization plan of the next MDT release. Due to that, we have shifted publication of the release 0.4.1 to the middle of February. We hope that the new functionalities will facilitate and improve your work in the MDT environment.
