Manitoba Hydro - is a Crown Corporation, the major energy provider in the province of Manitoba and one of the largest in Canada. They serve energy to over half a million and natural gas to around a quarter million customers. Nearly all generated electricity comes from self-renewing water power from 14 hydroelectric generating stations. Manitoba Hydro uses Smallworld GIS to manage its own assets.
When I walk through our offices today, I see MDT more often than Emacs. In my opinion, an everyday work in the field of software development will be easier and better owing to MDT.
